Ghost Face Bloody Glow In The Dark LDD Is Bloody Shining!
What is your favorite collectible? There aren’t many collectibles better than horror dolls, especially when the dolls are inspired by the most significant icons, with a unique twist that makes them even more impressive and memorable. The new Ghost Face doll from the Scream movies, part of Mezco Toys’ Living Dead Dolls series, looks precisely like that. It is bloody, glamorous, scary, and a must-have item for any horror fan. Here is all you need to know about the limited edition of Ghost Face Bloody Glow In The Dark edition, an Entertainment Earth exclusive.
What Is Mezco Toys Living Dead Dolls Series?
The Living Dead Dolls series, or LLD for short, is one of the most prominent in the horror doll sector in recent years. Each doll here embodies a unique character, often inspired or designed by horror movies, familiar icons, and sometimes “just” scary dolls. Among the dolls we have seen in recent years, we can mention:
- Pennywise LDD, including Pennywise from the 1990 version
- Freddy Krueger LDD, which also consists of a talking doll
- LDD of Michael Myers from “Halloween”
- LDD of Regan from “The Exorcist”
- Annabelle LDD (yes, the doll also gets her doll version)
- LDD of The Nun, also from the cinematic universe of “The Conjuring”
- LDD of “Elvira,” Mistress of Darkness
- The Addams Family LDD series, including Wednesday Addams, a dancing Wednesday Addams doll, and also Gomez and Morticia
- Art the Clown’s LDD doll, which we wrote about on the website not long ago
The dolls have some common characteristics beyond the fact that they are remarkably creepy and super unique. The dolls come in a box in a closed coffin design, include actual cloth clothing, stand out with their glass eyes, and include five points of articulation.
Meet Ghost Face Bloody Glow In The Dark Edition
It is important to note that the current Ghost Face Bloody Glow In The Dark doll is not the only one from the LLD series. Earlier, we got another 10-inch doll and a pretty cool zombie version, which includes a cracked ghost mask.
Like most other items in the series, the current Gooseface also stands 10 inches tall, wears his signature mask, inspired by Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream, and wears the familier hooded robe.
The good news is that, like any Scream movie, there are a few twists here. First, the new Ghost Face doll mask glows in the dark in a creeping green, which means you can see it threatening you at night, instantly adding a creepy atmosphere to the room (it can even be romantic!). The character’s face is covered in blood because, after all, we are talking about one of the bloodiest slashers out there.
The doll includes one accessory, which is, of course, an iconic knife. The doll has five articulation points, allowing you to recreate famous murders from the popular franchise.
Here, as in other Living Dead Dolls, the figure comes in a box that simulates a coffin, a design item without a doubt.
How Can You Buy Ghost Face Bloody Glow In The Dark
Please note that the new Ghostface doll from the LLD series is a limited edition, unique to the Entertainment Earth store, which is one of the most successful in the sector of accessories and collectibles for horror fans (in general). We are yet to know how many dolls will be sold, but Entertainment Earth mention in their website that they “reserve the right to limit quantities ordered.” So it will probably be smart to order it fast, as Ghost Face is chasing you at this moment!
